1. Admission time: 8:00-17:00 for the Three Gorges Dam tourist area. 7:30-16:00 for the Yemingzhu triangle receiving station. 8:00-15:00 for the Zigui transfer hub.
2. Reservation method: Visitors need to make an appointment via the “Three Gorges Dam Tourism” WeChat official account and pre-pay the transportation fee (35 yuan/person). The appointment window is divided into two time periods, 8:00-12:00 in the morning and 12:00-17:00 in the afternoon. The reservation information should include real name, mobile phone number, ID card number, and visit time. Minors (without an ID card) and foreign tourists can make reservations and purchase tickets directly at the ticket windows in the scenic area.
✅Transportation🚗
By train🚄: If you arrive in Yichang by train, you can walk about 500 meters from Yichang East Station to Yichang Bus Passenger Transport Center to take the park shuttle or take buses 809-2 or 216 to the Three Gorges Dam Tourist Transfer Center (B9➡️Gezhouba Transfer B100➡️Walk to Yemingzhu bus station). During the National Day period, the route to Zigui transfer center is also open, which is very convenient for those who want to visit Zigui.
By car🚖: Drive on the Three Gorges special highway after arriving in Yichang and apply for a pass in the inspection station along the way. Remember to bring your driver's license and vehicle license.

【Tanzi Ling Scenic Area】
It is the commanding point of the Three Gorges construction site and the best place to view the panoramic view of the Three Gorges Project. The name Tanzi Ling is derived from its shape, resembling an overturned wine vessel.
【Ship Lock Observation Platform】
The five-level ship lock of the Three Gorges Dam is the main navigation building of the Three Gorges Project, with a total length of 6.4 kilometers. The up and down drop of the ship lock is 113 meters, equivalent to a 35-story high-rise building. The double-line five-level ship lock is the largest inland ship lock in the world, creating the world's largest water level drop and the most significant navigation effect.
【185 Viewing Platform】
The 185 Viewing Platform is located at the left bank port of the dam's top road, so named because it is at the same altitude as the dam's crest, both at an elevation of 185 meters. The magnificent dam extends from here to the south of the Yangtze River, cutting off the entire river. Standing on the platform, visitors can feel the height of the dam when looking down.
【Diversion Memorial Park】
The park is located 800 meters downstream of the right bank of the Three Gorges Dam. You can enjoy the entire Three Gorges Dam from here. The Three Gorges Diversion Memorial Park is the first water conservancy engineering theme park in China, which combines tourism, science popularization, performances, and leisure.

1. Take the park shuttle from the Three Gorges Dam Tourist Center to Tanzi Ling.
2. Walk a few steps to the ship lock observation platform from Tanzi Ling.
3. Walk or take a battery car (10 yuan/person) to the 185 viewing platform from the ship lock observation platform.
4. Take the park shuttle from the 185 viewing platform to the Diversion Memorial Park.
5. Take the park shuttle back to the tourist center from the Diversion Memorial Park.

1. Prepare sun protection measures, sunglasses, sunscreen clothes, and wear flat shoes for easier walking.
2. The whole tour takes about one day, prepare snacks in advance.
