甘南, nominated by "National Geographic" as one of "The World's 50 Must-Visit Destinations for a Lifetime", is known as the"Little Tibet in Gansu".
✅Lanzhou:
✔ Must-visit: Gansu Museum, Baita Mountain Park, Mother River of the Yellow River, Yellow River Iron Bridge, Lanzhou Monument, Zhongning Road snacks
✅Langmu Temple: Known as “China's Little Switzerland”, “Shangri-La of Gannan” and “Little Jiangnan”.
✔ The innkeepers usually provide navigation routes for “watching the sunset” (starting around 17:00).
✔ Namo Canyon is located in the Geerdi Temple, and the scenery is quite beautiful.
✔ Amala Tibetan Restaurant and Koukouxiang Snack Bar (both have long queues, so it is recommended to take a number in advance).
✔ Ticket: 60 yuan/person (Gansu+Sichuan).
✅Labrang Monastery: The longest prayer wheel corridor in the world and known as the "World Tibetan Buddhist College".
✔ When the sunrise or sunset comes, climb the slope opposite the parking lot and look down on Labrang Monastery; Gongtang Pagoda is also a good place to watch the panoramic view of Labrang Monastery (requires a ticket).

✅Zagana: Known as the birthplace of Adam and Eve by adventurer Locke.
✔ There are four villages in Zagana, mainly three routes:
First: Dongwa Village–Yeri Village–Dari Village–Daiba Village
Second: Dayugou Valley
Third: Xiannv Beach and Xiannv Lake
✔ You can walk up the plank road to Xiannv Beach (about 30 minutes), or take an electric car (40/person, the cost includes Line One Tian and Xiannv Beach).
✔ The location of Yeri Village is suitable for shooting the sunrise, and the Locke observation deck behind the mountain has a good view of the panoramic view of Dongwa Village.

✅Ruoergai: Named after the colorful surface of the Huahu Lake and known as China's most beautiful wetland by "National Geographic" magazine. The first curve of the Yellow River is known as the "place where the sun and moon alternates".
✔ Huahu Lake: 105 yuan; First Bend of the Yellow River: 100 yuan (including elevator).
✅Amaicao Wetland: The first bend of the Yellow River, climb the Gongsaielkam Road and overlook the red houses of Amaicao.

📌 Precautions:
✔ Gannan belongs to a plateau area with large temperature differences between morning and evening, so be sure to bring a down jacket or a warm fleece, and avoid vigorous exercise.
✔ The plateau is prone to altitude sickness. Remember to bring oxygen, Glucose and anti-sickness medicines.
✔ The parking fees inside the scenic spots are usually 5-10 yuan, and some scenic spots are charged by the hour. It is basically paid by scanning the QR code, and cash is also acceptable.
✔ Be sure to bring all kinds of photography props, sunglasses, hats, shawls, selfie sticks, power banks, umbrellas, drones, etc.
✔ Respect local customs when entering minority areas.
✔ Remember to carry enough food and water, such as instant noodles, self-heating hot pot, self-heating rice, etc.
